Year End Close Process

We closed the accounting periods and ran the IS close process.

Auditors then required additional entries.

Re-ran IS close process.  We can see the entries were made with the C posting dates.

But when we run the TB for 12/31/21 we still see the entries.

Looks fine on 1/1/22 but that includes entries made on 1/1/22 so it cannot be used.

Thoughts?

    1. The audit entries that you made, did you use 12/31/21? If you used this date or a date prior, then the tried balance has to agree

    2. you did post the 2nd income statement close journal?

    3. Are you looking for your Trial Balance to have a clear income statement at 12/31/21? If so, run your report for 1/1/21..C12/31/21

    4. It's not clear what your issue really is.
