Hi All,

Currently there is a G/L account entry on schedule (7-BALSHEET) that is not showing the opposite sign on my income statement report. Below is the screenshot with the entry showing "Show Opposite Sign" on the account schedule. (Be aware that currently the value for that account is -187)

This is how is it's been displayed on report. We would like to show is as positive (without parenthesis)

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Problem solved!!

It was hidden a second value that drives the opposite value (Sign Control). This value must be assigned as Reverse. After value was changed, parenthesis got removed on report.

Case closed, thank you guys for your help.

Sorry, I am not familiar with NAV to be able to comment further on how accounts are setup there, but I can't believe the properties on an account are that much more different than those that can be assigned in GP. So I would start by verifying the account setup in NAV.

When field is unchecked still showing the parenthesis (187). I did close/re-open NAV to make sure changes were applied correctly.

And what happens if you uncheck it? What I think MR is doing is showing you the sign corresponding to the typical balance as setup on the account in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
