I am new to this group and hope someone can help me. I would like to create a way to automatically update an Opportunity Product line. I have seen in other entries in this forum, that it is not possible to do this with a workflow. I am wondering if there is a way to do this without creating an addon (which I don't yet know how to do).
Here is a clip of my screen:
My users want the ability to manually input a % Probability for each product on the Opportunity. Then if the Probability is greater than or equal to 80% they want the product to appear on a forecast report. So I have created a yest/no field called Forecast. If at a future time the probability drops below 80% the item is to stay of the forecast unless manually changed.
"Forecast" is the field that I want to update automatically.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
