Workflow stopped error after 5 attempts to resume it

Hi All, 

I am trying to resolve one workflow error issue and I resumed it multiple times. However, now I can't resume it as it is throwing the following error.

Can I fix this from functional end?

    Hi Razab,

    Do you try to change the parameter of Maximum number of attempts on the path of System administration > Workflow > Workflow parameters?

    And try the Maximum retries on the batch job of Workflow message processing.

    Yes, you can.

    Unfortunately due to system limitation maximum retry attempt is 5 by default. If you have not setup the retry count in System admin -> Workflow parameters. I suspect you will have to recreate your scenario if you are not able to resume from UI or need technical help.

    Hi BRaza,

    Is there any other error description in one of the other errors? You have to find out the reason why it is raising an error. Is this just one instance for this workflow or are all workflow messages failing?

    Hello Audre,

    There was no other error description. I tried to resume it for couple of times and check under workflow parameters as well, the workflow attempts is set to Zeo (0). This happened for only this workflow.

    To resolve this issue, i recalled the workflow and asked the user to submit it again. This worked out for us as the workflow restarted from scartch.

    So, it was only one instance? Was your question answered by the comment from Rahul?

    Please monitor the workflows if it will happen again.
