We are using the traditional email templates.
We have a forms pro survey where we want to send to customer using the email template.
I am able to copy and paste the link.
But when the response comes it comes as anonymous response.
We dont want to use power automate.
Is there a way to connect this to case ?
Did you set the Regarding field in the Create an Invitation step of your flow as mentioned in this blog?
If so you post the screenshot of your Create an Invitation step? And also check if the Regarding field is populated in the Forms Pro survey invitation entity is populated.
Hi Linn, i have sent survey through power automate and i have submitted response, but the response is getting saved as anonymous and is not associated to case neither contact.
Any suggestions on this?
There is no way to achieve that without using Power Automate. The response will be connected to the case only if you set the case as regarding on the survey invitation (in Power Automate). If the static survey link is used in the email template and send out to all customers, there is no way for the system to identify who took the survey because they are all using the same link.
Is there any problem with using Power Automate?
