hi everyone,

if I want to activate the "CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE SERVICES", I get always the same error: You do not have permission to create or run scheduled tasks.

I'm a "super" user in BC, so I have all the permissions.

Can somebody help me please.

Is this a full licensed user? By design only full licensed users can schedule tasks.

Are you an end user or partner ?

Partner can't run scheduled task.

You need to run it as end user.

May I know why only end users allowed to set a job queue, not the partner? Any specific reason?

My guess is that the reasoning behind it is that the partner license is not a paid license.

And MS want all scheduled tasks to run in context of a paid user license.

It kind of makes sense but can be a bit annoying especially when you configure and test a new tenant.
