    Hi Ahana,

By complete, I am assuming that in addition to the RTC and Database access you need development access too. Well, for development access you need a Development License for sure.

I thought Little briefing would be helpful for you.

How to get a development license?

First lets be clear here, there is really no such thing as a "Developer License". Only Development Granules, that provides the access to the full development environment.

So the answer depends on if you are a customer or a partner.

    Customer developement license:

"End User Licenses"are the ones sold to NAV customers by NAV partners.

A customer may choose to buy the Development Granules. The price depends on which granules are selected. It used to be around the price of 10-25 user CAL's. The customer is not given a separate development license, but the development granules becomes part of their regular license.

Contact your Dynamics partner to buy the development granules.

please suggest for license that partner purchased for us. Is it under partners Name or our. Moreover how can we verify the license details. Is there any key for it or there is some other process if that.

    Hi,

You can check for whom the License is release for.

Go to the below shown path on the Home page of NAV.

Now, here you will be able to see the Company Name and Address for which the License is officially released. Also, You can click on "View your License Information" to see further detail like Expiry Date of License, License Type etc. (Here, I am assuming that the provided License is already updated in you target Database).

Alternatively, you can also directly open the License File shared with you in Notepad and view the above-mentioned details.
