We are currently using GP2016 R2 on hosted environment we have Office 365 64bit version installed on our RDP Server. we are also using Microsoft Office 365 Exchange email.
when i try to setup Email functionality as Exchange server and then configure it the same is giving me error or login failed Check your login Information and try again.
how can we setup Exchange Online with one generic email account with Dynamics GP 2016 R2.

Were you ever able to get a resolution to this.
We are running into a similar situation. Dynamics GP 2016 and Office 365 Exchange Online. We get the "login failed" from all workstations, not just the RDP server.
So our local machines certainly have a profile setup and GP is set to Exchange in the System Preferences window.
Couple things to check:
1. In Dynamics GP, make sure the Server Type in the System Preferences window is set to Exchange
2. In your Control Panel, make sure you have a profile setup for the account you are trying to authenticate
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
