I want to create a Journal Entry using ODATA. Is that possible? How would I create it in my sandbox.?

Thanks

Hi, no, this is the Company's ID. You can get it by Get companies API.

    Hope the following helps.
Standard API for Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS (Get, Post, Patch, Delete and Basic query parameters – filter, orderby, select…)

    Thanks.

Thanks that helped. I do have a question I want to create a new Journal so it looks like I first have to obtain a Journal Object is that correct. Sorry I am pretty new to this stuff.

looking at the doc. I found the following to create a new Journal.

    POST https://{businesscentralPrefix}/api/v2.0/companies({id})/journals

not sure what the id's represents in companies{id}. Is that just the enviroment name such as a sandbox I have setup in BC?

If not where do I get the id?
