Defining financial dimensions by legal entity

Hello,
 
We have "Customer" financial dimension and we would like to limit this to a specific Legal Entity. 
But the Legal Entity override is not available for this Customer Financial dimension 
I would like to restrict the values in this Customer financial dimension per Legal Entity - is there a way I can do this?

This is urgent for one of our clients, so any help would be great

    Hi,

    This is an entity-backed dimension. The dimensions and values are global, but in case you use the customer dimension on e.g. journals or default dimensions, only values relevant to the current legal entity are selectable. So, your requirement is covered by the standard.

    As Andre said, for entity backed dimensions the values will be selectable based on legal entity. 
     
    Legal entity override option can be used only when dimension type is "Custom"
