295Hello D365 F&O Community,
I’m facing an issue with standard reports in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations where the date fields are not consistently displaying in the desired DDMMYYYY format, despite updating user preferences. I need all date fields in standard D365 F&O reports to display in DDMMYYYY format, regardless of user preferences or regional settings.
- By default, most standard reports show date fields in MMDDYYYY format.
- To address this, I changed the Date, Time, and Number Format in User Options > Preferences to English (United Kingdom) (en-gb), expecting the date format to update to DDMMYYYY.
- For some reports, this change works, and the date fields display as DDMMYYYY. See the below image.
- However, for other reports, the date fields remain in MMDDYYYY format, even with en-gb set. See the below image
- I’ve debugged the report code but couldn’t find any logic explicitly enforcing MMDDYYYY.
- I've checked the report design there is no specific format mentioned.
- I've checked the table property which Date format that is also set to auto.
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
