Cycle Count Multiple Licence Plates in Single Location

Hi,

Looking for some advice on how to cycle count multiple licence plates in one location. We have a number of pallets that don't fit into traditional racking so we stack them on the floor - we could have 30 pallets stacked on the floor in one location. When we set up cycle count work for the location we will be directed to count the stock in order of the oldest licence plate. In most cases this won't always be the first visible pallet.

Is it possible to skip over licence plates until you find the one that you need to count? and then you can keep skipping until you've counted all of the licence plates in the location?

What cycle counting methods do you currently have configured in the system? I assume you are using advanced warehouse?

Hi Mike,

Yes, using advance warehousing. Current process is to set up cycle count plans based on zones within the warehouses.

Good day Jaclyn,

Yes, that’s possible.

You need to set the “License plate” parameter to “No” on the mobile device menu item used for cycle counting.

With this setting, when the user starts the counting process, they can scan any license plate — the system will not enforce a specific one.

Did you try setting "Display LP" to "No" on the cycle count mobile device menu item?
