Inventory items assigned to cancelled or closed manufacturing orders

Hi all, I have some manufacturing orders, that are cancelled or closed that have items assigned to them, if I run inventory concile, they remain assigned to the MO, how can I relieve them from such MO and have them available for other open MO?

    If they are on closed MO's, I would assume they would have to have been consumed or flushed out as a variance.   If they are on cancelled, the only way to get the inventory back is to re-release the MO, do a reverse issue/allocation, and then cancel the MO.   That should make inventory available again.

    To address the question as to the cause, someone must not be aware of the status of the MO.   It has to be done manually.   I would limit security to the window to only those that would know the status of the MO.
