Request for guidance on Dynamics API integration without Plug-in Registration tool

We are currently working on integrating Dynamics through the API using a webhook, and we have encountered a challenge.

According to the available documentation, the suggested method for integration involves downloading and utilizing the Plug-in Registration tool.

However, we are keen on exploring alternative options and integrating with Dynamics without relying on the Plug-in Registration tool.

We have thoroughly searched the documentation but have been unable to find a clear solution or instructions for this approach.

Is it possible to achieve integration with Dynamics through the API without using the Plug-in Registration tool?

Hi,

What is your requirement??

1. You want to send data from dynamics CRM to external system?

2. Do you want to insert data to Dynamics CRM from external system?

Point -2 can easily be achieved using CRM web api,

Point -1 will require you to register service endpoint/webhook /use power automate

Hi,

I want to send data from dynamics crm to external system.

i have a webhook but im not sure how to do it, how do i connect between dynamics crm and the webhook so i will get a trigger when a value is changed (update) or a new value is enterd (create)

In the process of creating and using custom APIs, various plug-ins are often used:

If you want to implement functionality similar to business events, then using plugins is a hard part to avoid:

Hi,

You will have to Register webhook using plugin registration tool

learn.microsoft.com/.../use-webhooks

I don't any other way other than registering webhook/Using power automate
