A previous version of Microsoft Dynamics GP has been detected.
To proceed, you need to upgrade your Microsoft DYnamics GP system database.
Other users are currently using Microsoft Dynamics GP. You cannot update tables while anyone is using Microsoft Dynamics GP.
As mentioned by consultants, your server and client GP version was not same.
Please install GP same as of Server version by check the version number in login screen from both ends to avoid upgrade.
Hi Nancy,
I agree with Richard, there's a newer version of GP installed in that machine. I highly recommend not to proceed because it might affect other tables in GP.
We usually do our upgrade first in our Test environment.
I suggest you check what Dynamics GP version you have in that machine by going to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features >> then take note of the version to be compared to another machine.
It better to uninstall that newest version of GP from that machine to avoid unintentional running of GP Utilities.
You have installed a newer version of GP on this workstation as opposed to what is installed on your server. If your intention is to upgrade GP then launch GP utilities and proceed with the upgrade. If not, exit GP and do not proceed. There can be a lot more to a GP upgrade than just GP. I would suggest your contact your reseller before proceeding.
