Picking list for production order

How do I create a new picking list for a production order? When I Release the production order and go to Journals->Picking List it returns 'Grid is empty.' When using the 'Create New' tab, should the item number be the same as that listed on the BOM? What if the BOM contains multiple materials?

    HI Blake,

If the Production order is already released, You can also create from Picking List Journal. When you create new you will only find Items which are link with BOM only. If BOM contains multiple items when you click new Lines you will find under the item drop down all the assigned items under BOM.

If you don't want to create manually, re-schedule the Production Order, when you start, on the general tab check parameter to create picking list.

    Thanks
