I want to know how best to record the quantities of Fruit and vegetables that spoil and cannot be sold so that I can run subsequent reports to see what percentage of our inventory we are losing to spoilage. Any assistance, gratefully received.

Many thanks in advance .

    Hi Solo,

You could enable the Reason code for manual inventory adjustments, and then set up a Reason code for Spoilage:

When changing the quantity, this would then prompt for a reason (Spoilage, Theft, etc.)

You should then be able to run the Item Movement History Report and filter on Reason Code = Spoilage:

This is less than 4 months from now; and you can continue using RMS after this date but technical support will not be available.

I would recommend checking with your partner in regard to what they may recommend as a replacement system after the extended support end date.
