Management Reporter drill down to Dyanmics GP 2010

When we installed Dynamics GP 2010 and Management Reporter we were told that one function that would be available to us would be the drill down to Dyanmics from MR.  So far we have been unable to get this to work.  When we Generate report and drill down to the transaction detail the Dynamics icon lights and becomes available.  We then click on the icon to get to the transaction detail.  The system thinks for a second and then the Dynamics icon becomes grayed out and nothing pops up from Dynamics.  That link will not become available again in this report unless we close it and then regenerate it.

What steps do I need to take to get the Dynamics link to work properly and drill down into Dynamics from Management Reporter.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Steve

    1.  Make sure that you have a periodic column on your report, it will only work on the periodic details.

    2.  you need to be on SP3 or Version 11.00.2197

Is this something I would add on the Column definitions?

I am trying to find out what the requirements for Service Pack 3 are, do you know what those are or where they can be found?  Also do you know if Service Pack 3 is compatible with FRX?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I just tried my FRX and we are running SP3 as of yesterday and you can can still run FRX.  As to the specs, I am sure that they are the same as GP2010.  But once you are on SP3 you can go to SQL 2012, you get the free version of Professional Services Tools and there are 5 pages of fixes that the SP takes care of from Analytical Accounting to Audit Trails, Bank Managment, Bank Reconciliation, Bill of Materials, collection Management Direct Debuts and Refunds, e Connect, EFT for Payalbes, EFT for Receivables, Safe pay, Electronic Signatures, Encumbrance Management, Extender, Field Service, Fixed Asset Management, General Ledger, Human Resources and Payroll, Interfund Manager
