How to clone a record with exact stage of the Business process flow?
Hi Partner,
You could use Power Automate to do this.
1.For example, I want to clone opportunities with exact stage, I will create a Power Automate first for opportunity.
2.Then add a step to Create a new opportunity record.
Since this record is a copy one, so we set all the original values to this new opportunity, and mark its topic with "- copy" to show that this record is a copy one.
3.Add a list records step to find the BPF record(as we know, each BPF is an entity in D365) of the original opportunity record.
This step is used to get the exact stage.
4.Finally, add a create new record action to create a new BPF record with the same active stage of original one, and set this BPF to the copy opportunity record.
