Transferring Work Description from Posted Sales Invoices to Customer Ledger Entries

Hello, I would like to transfer the Work Description from Posted Sales Invoices to Customer Ledger Entries.
 
I came across the link below and saw the option to add an OnAfterGetRecord() trigger to a page extension that extends the Customer Ledger Entries.
 
Could you please confirm if this is the best option or are there any alternative options that will not affect performance?
 
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    Hello,
     
    Using OnAfterGetRecord() on the Customer Ledger Entries list to fetch Work Description from Posted Sales Invoices works, but it hurts performance because it runs per row and loads BLOBs repeatedly. Best practice is to copy the Work Description at posting time into a custom field on Customer Ledger Entry, so the list reads local data only. If you just need visibility (not a column), a FactBox is a good, lightweight alternative.
