How to block user from editing Customer Group?

Hi,

I'm using Microsoft Dynamics AX2009. How can I make one user group that can create New Customer using Company accounts templates and cannot edit the customer group and credit limit?

First, i already make the Company Account Templates, I fill up the Customer Group and the Credit Limit that the company want, and set the user group permissions for Customer Group and Credit Limit to View.

But when this user Group create New Customer using Company Account Templates, the customer group and credit limit show up empty, and since I set their permissions to View they cannot edit the Customer Group and they cannot save the customer.

When I change this user group Permissions for Customer Group and Credit Limit to Edit, then when creating New Customer, all show up but they can edit. But the company don't want this user group to be able to change Customer Group and Credit Limit.

What should I do? Is there any other setting that I need to know? That I missed?

Are you using custom class to import customers? Or users creating manually?

I've created one sample user group with permissions (Full access to Customers and read only access to customer groups) and was able to create customer.

Hi Ajit, I've already tried your way, but in mine, still cannot create customer, because the user cannot fill in the customer group.
