Is there anyway to  hide KB RECORDS in the social pane?

    You can go to the properties and there is a Knowledge Base Search Control section under the Display tab.  Simply uncheck the "Show Knowledge Base Search Control" and the KB tab will be hidden.

    AFAIK there is no supported way of doing that. Check this unsupported approach - arunpotti.wordpress.com/.../hide-postsactivitiesnotes-from-social-pane-crm-2013
