Dear Experts,

Is it possible that Purchase order is cancel status, but we want to un-register the registered quantity, is there any solution?

    Hi,

I couldn't make this happen: "...Purchase order is cancel status, but we want to un-register the registered quantity.."

I created a purchase order, registered inventory. And now, when I hit cancel, it just leaves the Purchase Order's status as "Open order".

However, you can un-register a registered inventory transaction only by re-running the Update Line/Register action. The below screenshots were taken from a standard R3 CU12 environment.

Here is a registered inventory transaction:

It can be un-registered as seen in the screenshot below. Just hit Auto-create and Post, without making any change:

And the inventory transaction is un-registered:

    I hope that will help.

Dear, this is fine your statement that  I created a purchase order, registered inventory. And now, when I hit cancel, it just leaves the Purchase Order's status as "Open order". But I am unable to  un-register the registered quantity.

Scree shots are taken from CU8 Environment. REg_2D00_1.pngREg_2D00_1.pngreg_2D00_3.png

Please help in this regard, because this Registered quantity is effecting my physical available quantity and results.

    Hi,

What is your Purchline.Purchstatus for these records? There might be something wrong with it.

When workflow is used, normally inventory transactions are created when workflow is completed. This might be related to it. I will test it too but, could you submit and complete the workflow and try after its done?

Yes I have complete Workflow just Workflow status changes Draft to In review and approved but PO status remain Opens Order.

    Hi,

Workflow updates Purchstatus as you said but, please try to unregister after workflow gets completed.

Yes, When Workflow completed then its give option to unregistered quantity.

That's Great. Bundle of Thanks :)
