Hello,

I have bought a couple of Topaz Signature Pads (Model T-S460-HSB-R)

I installed SigPlus that gave me DemoOCX app.

Then i installed SigPlusOpos (received a link in my email after filling up a form on their website) drivers and then finally SigPlus 389 as per their guidance in the following PDF document:

www.topazsystems.com/software/download/javapos/TopazOPOSDriverInstallation.pdf

I did everything as directed but when i open the POS, it gives me the following error:

Can anybody help me resolving this issue, please?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Vk,

How is the Signature Capt. configured in Store Operations Manager?

Also, is there a test utility for Topaz to validate the OPOS setup; and have you checked with Topaz since they provided the configuration documentation?

Just a note that Mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 ended on July 10, 2016; and extended support ends on 7/13/2021:

This is less than 12 months from now; and you can continue using RMS after this date but technical support will not be available.

I would recommend checking with your partner in regard to what they may recommend as a replacement system after the extended support end date.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Todd,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I actually got in contact with Topaz Support team and they provided me with the new drivers that they are about to launch.

I was able to install them and it even worked.

But now there is a problem in the POS.

When i post a transaction in Store Account, the system opens up a box for customer to sign.

When the customer is done signing, we click 'Capture' and then 'Ok' to accept it, but the signature looks too tiny in the signature box and in tender screen (see the screenshots).

They said this is something with RMS and they won't be able to help because their drivers worked and POS accepted their OPOS configuration.

Is there anything that we can do to enlarge the signatures?

Where are these signatures stored in the system?

Also, i would appreciate if you could tell me what codes i need to add in receipt XML file to print these signatures on the same invoice?

    Hi VK,

The signatures should be stored in the SignatureCapture table in the database.

The only control within the RMS application is the Real-time capture setting.

Have you tested with this marked and unmarked?

    Did you notice any diferrence?

If the size is still small, you may need to reach back to Topaz for additional assistance.

In researching, I found an older thread around the Topaz, but there is no indication this was resolved:

    Hopefully this helps.

    Hi Todd,

Yes, i have already tried that, but unfortunately it doesn't work.

What i feel is that we need to change the size of the signature capture image where it is stored.

The signatures are being recorded, but when we want to see it, the size of it is too tiny, so i think changing its resolution would help?

That's why i asked you if you could tell me where the signatures are stored.

I found its directory in the database:

    Annotation-2020_2D00_08_2D00_19-114212.jpg

Do you think making any change in to these tables would help or resizing / changing the resolution would help?

If yes, can you guide me how to do that please??

I would really appreciate your help,

    Thanks

    HI VK,

    Thank you for the update.

Did Topaz state that they tested those drivers with RMS and the signature in their testing is the correct size?

No testing has been done with modifying the values in the database; and there is no place I know of to change that within the UI.
