Partner Source Access for New Organization

(0) ShareShare

Hi All,

I want my new organization to have a Partner Source access. I couldn't find relevant document for having it.

Till now I have registered for MPN, and got a MPN ID for organization.

Now I cant find any link or doc for registering my Organization to have an access for Partner Source.

Confusion

1. Do i need to register for the Microsoft Action Pack, does this includes access to Partner Source.

partner.microsoft.com/.../action-pack

2. Second, was for having Competency as we are new we don't people who are certified. (We require the training material for making the employees certified, for that we need Partner Source)

Thanks

I have already done my homework and have visited links like

https://mspartner.microsoft.com/lt/lt/pages/solutions/microsoft-business-solutions-partnersource.aspx

https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/developingfordynamicsgp/2008/12/18/how-can-i-get-access-to-partnersource-customersource/

These links appears to be old and many link on them don't work.

I need the most basic and cheap way to access Partner Source login for my organization as we are trying to build and grow.

partner.microsoft.com/.../action-pack

    Hi Shivam,

You have to contact your Partner Account Manager at Microsoft. If you have an agreement to be VAR, ISV or consulting partner for Dynamics AX or other Dynamics products the main contact in your organization should receive an invite for partnersource. Only being registered at MPN is not sufficient.

Note that the learning portal is a different subscription which does not come with the basic partnersource access.

    Hi Andre,

Thanks for the fast & prompt reply.

I have not been assigned any Partner Account Manager through Microsoft.

Could you just provide me the link for becoming a Consulting Partner for Dynamics Products.

Secondly, Thanks for pointing out that DLP is different than Partner Source.

Could you just also throw some light on

Partner Engagement Type :- System Integrator

    Thank you so much :)

    Hi Shivam,

If you don't have a PAM, contact your regional Microsoft office. They can help you to fill the correct forms to become an AX partner. A system integrator is not one of the partner types for Dynamics products.

    Hi Andre,

Thank you so much for the instant help.

If I am not wrong, you are trying to say to have a look at this

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../agreements-guides-and-handbooks

    Thanks Again :)

    Hi Shivam,

I was not aware of that page. It is a good start to understand which partner types do exist for the Dynamics products.

It's not true anymore that one has to contact "your Partner Account Manager" like written in the first answer. this was valid til 2019 where the old partnersource was retired. there are no partner managers anymore.

The only way since 2020 is to open a microsoft support ticket, but there one is redirected from one support team to the next. mbsquery@microsoft.com, contact mail on the PSBC error page, which is shown, if one has no access, and itmbssup@microsoft.com are the wrong support teams. nobody seems to be responsible, no one seems to have the relevant informations how to setup an access to partnersource for a ms partner, who is also reseller of dynamics product licences and also a developer like every ms partner working with dynamics products. the answers i got are not helpful.

PSBC, the new partnersource for developer licenses and product updates, can be reached at businesscenter.mbs.microsoft.com.

On page learn.microsoft.com/.../get-started is said to get access writing a mail to mbscon@microsoft.com is needed. but its meant for business center developers. nevertheless i wrote them too, but ... they sent the PRA (partner registration agreement) to the end customer, not me... irritating and frustrating.

additional i read the pra is meant for not-resellers ... so whats going on there?
