Question regarding Development -> Stage -> Production

Hi,

We are going to use a development, staging and production environment!

But I have not found a way to include BU units and Territories in the Solution, so how you go about exporting/importing those?? Cause my thought is the create a fully functional development area before going to production! And also if you create BU specific views  and user rights how do you go about exporting those if you are not able to export the BU units?

    Hi,

    Business Unit cannot be included in solution for export. You need to create BU separately on environment. You can use configuration migration utility. It might helps you. Following is the reference

    Hi Martin,

    Business units and Territories are set of records so you can't include them in solution, but you can also export and import them to different environments.

    And regarding BU specific views and user rights - these are handled by security roles which you can add into solution (But keep in mind you can only include security roles which is created in root BU)
