Linking campaigns with forms

Is there any way to link a form to a campaign so that when a form is submitted, the lead created is already assigned to a campaign?

Thanks,

J

    Hi jonrisual,

When a new lead record is from marketing form, the Lead's source marketing form field will be populated.

I just want to confirm that whether your campaign would refer to Campaign entity record?

If so, we can build a workflow to do assignment automatically.

When a lead is created and if its source marketing form contains data,

then assign him/her to a specific campaign.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Could you please tell me how I get to the page you have shown above where I can create the workflow.

    Thanks,

    J

If you couldn't find icons at top navigation bar, please enter following URL to open Settings page directly:

You can check whether the workflow had run successfully in Processs Sessions:

    Hi Jonrisual,

workflows are an option as Clofy mentions, but you can go with a simple hidden field on the form, that gets posted with the form submission. there are ways to make that value (the campaign record ID) dynamic too, but you'd need JS skills for that.

So ultimately it depends on the level of complexity of your requirements what solution would work best for you.
