Shared Screen on Remote Assist on HoloLens

Hi,

I would like to know if screens shared over Teams desktop on a Hololens Remote Assist call are stored anywhere eg on Data verse? If I have "Auditing Enabled" set to "No" (on Power Platform Admin Centre under the Environments) does that mean no data is captured at all such as annotations / meta data etc?

Kind regards,

    Screen Sharing Storage:

    • Teams call recordings: Stored in SharePoint/OneDrive (if recording enabled)

    • Screen shares: Not stored in Dataverse by default

    • Remote Assist annotations: May be stored in Dataverse if configured

    •

    Auditing "No" Impact:

    • Dataverse auditing disabled = No audit trail of data changes

    • Does NOT prevent data storage - only prevents audit logging

    • Teams compliance policies still apply independently

    •

    What's Still Captured:

    • Teams call metadata (participants, duration)

    • Remote Assist session logs (basic info)

    • Annotations/snapshots if saved by users

    •

    To Minimize Data Storage:

    1. Disable Teams recording

    2. Turn off Remote Assist data collection in admin settings

    3. Review Teams compliance policies

    4. Check Mixed Reality admin center for Remote Assist settings

    5.

Bottom Line: Auditing=No doesn't stop data collection, just audit trails. Check Teams and Mixed Reality admin centers for full control.

How do I stop data capture completley so it doesn't capture attendees data as well as annotations etc? Which setting do I turn off and where?
