Does Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2013 supports multiple languages on same server and database

Hi Guys,

I have deployed an Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2013 on one server. That means SQL Server, Navision server, and RTC server are installed on a single server.

As a testing, I have successfully translated the language to Chinese (PRC) , language code 2052.

And I 've translated the language to Chinese (Taiwan), language code 1028.

Because our end users are distributed in Taiwan China and mainland China. So I want it display Chinese (PRC) and Chinese (Taiwan) at same time, on one server and only one database.

My question is does it supported by Navision 2013?

    Hi,

    - Make sure the language pack is installed at the server. If not, do as it important and necessary.

    - Yes definitely you can run two different languages on a single server (if you have language pack installed)

    Have a look:

    - Language Modules for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (requires PartnerSource login).

    Hi Zaid,

Thanks for your reply. I will try again.

Actually, I've install windows server Chinese (Taiwan) and Chinese (PRC) language packs on the server.

And I've set  ' language for non-Unicode language' as Chinese (Taiwan).

Do I need to set 'language for non-Unicode language' ad English.

And I forgot to clarify one thing, We will run English, Chinese (Taiwan) and Chinese (PRC) on production server.

    Hi Zaid,

    Thanks for your support.

I failed to import the language into object.

But I find a method provided by Microsoft.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn479852(v=nav.71).aspx

    It works perfectly.

It is really a effective method. With this method, you can support multiple languages at same time, on a single server and single database.
