Field requirement resets automatically - Bug ?

Hello,
I have a problem with the field requirements of system predefined fields.

This is specifically the pricelevelid of the entity quote in the SalesHub. I have already set the field to 'Input required' in 'Field request'. Nevertheless, the field is optional in the form.
It is briefly set to required when the form is loaded and then directly set to optional.

Briefly about the field
Name: pricelevelid
Searchable: Yes
Field requirement: Input required
Data type: Look up
Target data record type: Price list
Relation name: price_level_quotes
Field security: Deactivated
Monitoring: Activated

Thanks.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

I encountered the same issue as you when using the trial version of Dynamics 365 Sales.
I did not make any customizations to this field. For example, try using a Business Rule or form script to change the required level for this field.

I also have trial versions of other apps.

However, when I go into Sales Hub and open the Quote entity in the environment of those apps, the /Price List/ field is required.

    According to the official documentation.

Therefore, I suspect this may be a bug.
If this issue is impacting your normal business, it is recommended that you raise a support ticket for further assist.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

    Hi,

After a lot of testing in CRM, I have set the field to required using a script - i.e. OnLoad SetFieldToRequired.
This seems to solve the problem.

Thanks also to Dengliang Li for the detailed contribution.
