Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is there a way to pull up the notes that you add to a transacation in Smartlist?

If you are on GP2015 you can hit Modify on the SmartList window and then choose say Receivables Transactions. You need to add a table Record Notes Master and set the relationship on the Note Index field. Click on the TXTFIELD (change the title to something better) and add it to your default (if you want) and then you will be able to display the record note in SmartList without needing SmartList Builder.

    Kind regards,

Do you have smarlist builder? If so you will want to modify whichever smartlist you are looking to add this to. I generally recommend making a fresh custom smartlist by copying the old as modifying the original can have unexpected consequences.

Once you have it in smartlist builder you will want to double click the note index and select the note index display note option.
