I've seen it in the past. For the life of me, I can't find anywhere in partnersource.

    Boun,

The user interface guidelines are in appendix F of the basic dexterity training manual. This manual isn't available anymore and the standards are for version 9. I think they are the same. You can get the Dexterity Basics for Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 training manual from this link:

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../General.aspx

Appendix A of the IG.pdf includes the Naming Conventions. Chapters 14 - 31 of the IG.pdf also provides UI guidelines.

David Musgrave has some good information on his blog here:

In the test to certify an ISV application for GP, here are some things that are common errors according to their instruction document:

•The horizontal 3-D line under the toolbar is missing, showing the black line underneath,

•The horizontal 3-D line under the toolbar is too short, leaving a black dot on the right side.

•The vertical 3-D lines on the toolbar are missing or not the correct size or in the correct position.

•The vertical 3-D line on the right edge of the toolbar buttons is missing.

•Buttons on the toolbar are not sized correctly; they do not have a two-pixel gap between them.

•Prompts are missing the underline (Border=true, Appearance=3D Highlight).

•Fields are not aligned with each other or with the grid.

•There is wasted gray space around the edges of the windows or there is too much space between fields.

Search 'Microsoft Dynamics ISV Software Solution Test Guidelines' to get a copy. It doesn't give much more information than is in this post.

Hopefully this will get you started in the right direction.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
