As a subject of my question is

How to show "Exporting to MIcrosoft Excell .." Stop Button progress indicator while exporting from smartlist to ms excell

as shown at www.youtube.com/watch

I used GP 8

FYI

In my case .. there is no both button,indicator or progress bar just launch ms excell only.

Ok Leslie i will check the security setting or maybe Dex.ini ?

We just looked on 8.00.G44 and the stop button shows up in red. So, does the window show up with no stop? I don't think field security or modifier can access that window, but I gues it's worth checking. We didn't see any option in the setup screens.

It may not have been available in version 8. My roomate here at the conference has a client on version 8 that she can log in to remotely. We can check it out tonight and report back :)
