'Closed for pickup' in Ship calendar is considered in MRP, while not considered in firming

Our company needs to calculate requested ship dates for purchase orders. So we set procurement parameter: "Supplier requested and confirmed shipment dates" is Yes and setup related calendars.

When we run MRP for sales order line, a planned purchase order is created, then we firm the planned purchase order to create a purchase order. We found a confusing issue : (1)planned purchase order delivery date is based on 'Closed for pickup' in Ship calendar. if 'Closed for pickup'=Yes, it will not be set as ship date.

(2)But requested ship date in purchase order can be the date which is 'Closed for pickup' in Ship calendar.

So it seems 'Closed for pickup' in Ship calendar is considered in MRP, while it is not considered in firming planned purchase order.

Below is the example.

(1) Configuration:

(1.1)purchase lead time: 14 days ,purchase transport days: 20 days

(1.2) vendor delivery term is EXW.

(1.3)coverage and warehouse calendar: open from Monday to Friday

vendor ship calendar: control column is open everyday ; 'closed for pick-up' is opened only on Monday.

(2)Testing:

I placed the SO SA0005121, trigger MRP on 30/07/26.

However when I firmed the planned PO, the requested ship date in PO 9000137289 is wrong, because it's showing Tuesday 18/08/26("Closed for Pickup"=Yes in Calendar), instead of Monday 17/08/26:
