Migrate Users from On-premise to Online

Hi,

We are moving from On-premise to CRM Online.

We are using a XRM Tool - Data Transporter to migrate the data from one env to another. 

But we are unable to migrate system users. The online env already has users created (probably synced with AD). But we want the records to have the same GUID we had on On-premise system. Unable to update/import users.

Data Transporter tool throws below error when I try to migrate users

Is there any other tool which supports this? Even if I am able to update the GUID on existing users in Online env will also be good.

    Hello,

    You would not be able to update ID of the user online. The only way is to add identifier you have in on-prem to the online instance and use it to lookup the user.

    We have an application integration solution based on Dynamics 365, migrate records from one environment to another respecting GUIDs including all principals such as business units, users, roles, teams, which from our experience must be migrated first than other information in order to properly associate the owners, if you need technical information we can help you mmolina@smartxrm.com
