Is there an add on to RMS to work on the iPads? Not just the reporting but actual sales transactions?
If not, what table would be suggested?

Hi there
Yes there is, apologies for my ignorance, but I am not sure how to attach it here. If you reply with your email I would be happy to send it to you and add you to the email we send out with updates to the application.
You can also find a fair amount of the detail online at www.RMSiPOS.com. Not all, because we are a bit slack in updating the site.
Cheers
Richard
Hi.
Thanks for the info. Looks good. Will have a look. Also is there any PDF you can share with us. Would like to know more details on this.
If anyone is still looking for an iPad or iPhone Point of Sale application that interfaces to Microsoft RMS, then you can find details on one here: www.RMSiPOS.com.
This application allows an RMS Cashier to create Sales and or Customers, create Quotes or Work Orders, and take payments.
Sales, Customers, Work Orders and Quotes will be synchronized with an RMS Store Database, and therefore can be recalled in the RMS POS application (not required) and reported on in RMS.
RMS iPOS can communicate with the RMS database via Wifi or Cellular Data, and can work both Online and Offline without interruption to the Cashier / User.
We partnered with Enabler last year to do the pilot project to integrate their eMobile POS to RMS. It went very well, and is now plug-and-play. It has a lot of interesting features that are not in any other Mobile solutions I have seen - such as a full Offline mode, click-to-configure screens for more of a Quick-Service type look, etc.

Correct, we are looking to make sales not for reporting uses. I believe I found the answer on trying a windows tablet. Thanks for all your help!
@Ed
Roadmap for mobileRMS includes POS functionality, the speed of this depends user request/feedback.
For now you can create work orders on mobileRMS and recall at POS.
mobileRMS has some other great features beside reporting.

I think CMartin is looking to ring up sales on the ipad not just reporting. Is that possible.
