Hello, I’d like to create a smartlist to reconcile my PM & AR to the GL.
For the PM to GL which fields should be used on each side to do a match?
For the AR to GL which fields should be used on each side to do a match?

You really don't need to do that anymore. There is a built in feature in Great Plains Called reconcile to GL. if you go to Tools>>Routines>>Financial>> Reconcile to GL comes up. In this reconciliation you need to put in your main Accounts Payable Account and for A/R your Accounts Receivable account and it will show you everything that hit the GL on the right side of the sheet and the matching transactions from the sub-ledger on the left. It will also give you those transactions that it doesn't see a match for at the very top of the report. So, save yourself some time and use this report.
