Microsoft Dynamics SL (Archived)

I have closed AR and AP for our FY 2011 ended 6/30. The current date displays as period 1 for FY 2012 in both modules. I also rolled APs 1099 process. But I cannot enter invoices into period 1 FY 12. What am I missing???
