Lookup Field search should show only contact records

Hi,

I'm working on the case entity, I want customer lookup only to show contact records.

Right now it is showing account records by default. I even wanted to default the lookup view to contacts instead of accounts. I tried to add filter in the presearch, however I'm missing a piece to get it working. any directions?

    Drew,

    Customer in CRM means Account or Contact. There is no supported way of limiting it only to contact. There is an unsupported way to do it if you must know dynamicscrmusualsuspect.blogspot.jp/.../CRM2013ChangedefaultentityforaLookupfield.html

    Have you considered creating another contact lookup in Case and using it if you don't need Accounts( customer)?

    It worked, except you need add one more statement.

    document.getElementById("customerid_i").setAttribute("defaulttype", "2");
