Hi,

Need help regarding crm 9.0 business process flow stage-gating. I created a custom entity and a business process flow for it. Then i used a two-option field for business process flow stage-gating (set it as required), the problem is, the user can move to the next stage without ticking the two-option field to "Yes". I already confirmed this to CRM 8.2 but got a different behavior. In 8.2, the user cannot move to the next stage without ticking the two-option field to "Yes". Any help will be so much appreciated. Thanks!

I notice the same behavior, looks like a bug to me, but only in the UCI occurs.

    Works fine:

Doesn't work, the user can change the stage.

In the 8.2 version input the "Identify Decision Maker" and Input "Two option" as No and try to move next. If you can able to move next with No value then v9 also behaves the same.  Because in your screen shot you haven't keying the value for the Decision Maker field and only selected No for Two options

In 8.2 - stage gating is working fine

while in 9.0 - stage-gating is not working fine and it allows user to move to the next stage

there is no change or issue with version . Pls Try to create a new BPF in 8.2 and see not in V9. hope that will give you better clarity

Yes sir, but i just want to show that the "No" value in crm 8.2 Opportunity Sales Process does not allow users to move to the next stage.

From your screen shot i can understand that you are trying to create BPF for your custom entity in V9. But what you have tested is the OOB "Opportunity Sales Process". If you want those validation, then you have to customize to handle that .

stage_2D00_gating8.2.PNGHi Sir Syed, but in 8.2 the value No will not allow user to move to the next stage.
