I am using the "Transaction Entry" window in Inventory to make adjustment entries. The "Account Segment ID" that's defined for each site is being used as the posting account for both "Inventory" and "Inventory Offset". I think it should only be used for the "Inventory" account, and "Inventory Offset" should be taken from the default posting account.
My chart of accounts has only one segment. (It's a small company.) We have three sites, each with a different posting account set in the "sites" window:
AMAZON: 10061
WAREHOUSE: 10062
IN-TRANSIT: 10070
In Setup > Posting Accounts, I have set the "Inventory Offset" account to 63000 (an expense account).
I have tried this two ways:
1)When I have the account segment set in the "sites" window and make a transaction entry for site AMAZON, both the "Inventory" and the "Inventory Offset" distribution accounts are set to 10061.
2)When I clear the account segment in the "Sites" window and make a transaction entry, the "Inventory Offset" posting account is 63000 and the Inventory account is blank.
How do I prevent the account segment defined in Sites from overriding the "Inventory Offset" default account?
