I have a new project for my team and we are creating an incident report systme using crm online 2015. I would like to ask if how many how many fields can be used in the case resolution. Also what are the maximum number of allowed fields that we can use on the case form?

You can have 1023 field per entity, but just for your information case resolution form is not customization so you can't modify it, you need to develop your own custom form for the case resolution if you are planning to capture more fields on that.
