I needs to display system Alert Message (yellow high lighted ) from a plugin if any failure is happened. Normally plugin will throws error message from the plugins. But i don't wants to display error message.

I have to display system alert from Plugin. I am using CRM 2016 online version. Is there any supported way to do this?

As per my knowledge goes since plugin is happening at the back end it might not throw different format of alert with yellow highlighted. You can try out with certain JQuery and HTML based alerts at the client side.

Something like this?:

Hi ,

Thank you very much , I am asking about to create/ tweak SYSTEM-WIDE ALERTS IN DYNAMICS CRM . Which I can find only in advanced filter sections.

Actually the Alerts are not alerts, there is a system entity called Traces. So, when we are working with Advanced Find related to these alerts, we need to use the Traces entity only. Please suggest me how to create these yellow highlighted alerts in crm ?

You can write custom workflow activity with output parameter. Then you can create workflow and check this parameter. It true you can stop workflow with status "Canceled" and setup message.

Check this link for example survivingcrm.com/.../using-real-time-workflows-to-show-error-messages

It's still error, but better than throw error from plugin.

You could write an asynchronous workflow which will log error in System Job(ayncoperation) entity and write a javascript on load which will read those system job errors and display it on load as notification.
