HI

Looking for a solution / best practice for document sharing based on triggers (status) in Navision (2015) to field service mobility users.

Currently data is stored (in a structured way) on internal shared drives, the field service mobility platform does not support the exchange of documents (the usual pdf, word, excel etc) in the FSM app. Ideally we want a document sharing platform, which can make the documents available to single user based on a trigger in Navision (for example planning / start of a Job), capture edits and sync the documents back to the shared drive, again based on triggers in Navision (for example closer of a Job/order).

Open to suggestions in transferring/storing data in a different platform if that integrates properly with Navision 2015.

Has anyone have a solution for this issue / best practice on how to do it?

Many thanks!

    RE: Documents sharing

    Hello,

This is a typical a question for partners to answer related to what solutions are already available. Apart from that, you can maybe setup a test environment in SaaS via https://trials.dynamics.com that shows latest developments and features in v17.x related to document storing and capturing. This will help you to prevent building customization for a scenario that is already out there in a later release.

    Thanks.
