Headquarters Manager "Refreshing Lists..." taking lots of time....

Hi,

I have issue with refreshing list from headquarter manager very often.

Is there any way for me to reduce lagging time from refreshing list?

    Hello Danny,

    How many items do you have in your HQ database?

    As for deleting only the certain types of worksheets, there is nothing that is really supported by Microsoft other than the method in HQ Administrator that you mentioned.

    2.0.2022 did not help but I haven't done the re-index for awhile. I actually did that to all my client stores now.

    I also have too many worksheets and I would like to delete them but HQ Admin only have option to delete with certain period of time. Are there anyway for me to delete certain styles?

    All Hotfixes, Service packs, Cumulative Updates include all the previous updates, so you didn't miss/skip over any.

    The latest public version of RMS is 2.0.2022 available here if on the MS support plan; https://mbs2.microsoft.com/Knowledgebase/KBDisplay.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;3096600

    I don't see any mention of the screen refresh issue, honestly I don't remember when it was, but its been a while  ago. Updating to the latest will fix if you had a version with the issue.

    Again, I would run a database check and re-index in SO/HQ Admin.  BACKUP FIRST.  Also look at your database size and reduce it. Get rid of old worksheets.

    You might defrag the hard drive as well

    Hi Jeff,

    The version I am using is 2.0.2002

    Server memory is 160GB.  Station memory is 4~8GB.

    Do you know which Hotfix# should I install? I may have skipped Hotfix#..

    Here's the list of SP, FP and Hotfix I have installed on both client and server computers.

    4. SP4

    5. FP2

    What version of RMS? Years ago there was a bug refreshing.

    Tried running a database check and then a re-index recently?

    How much RAM on the database Server and the problem workstation?
