Selection criteria in the query

Hello,

Could anyone explain me the below please.

Why some fields values in a table when used in query are available in the selection criteria and some not?

It this example the first field has drop down with values and other doesn't. What this is driven by?

    Drop down list available or not  based on your field type ,

    For example , if you select EDT or Base enum ,drop down will be available

    If your type real or integer it will not be available

    Thanks mate. This is what I am trying to do - create new EDT, add a new filed into table based on this new EDT and than use it query selection, but it doesn't work. I am not getting anything in drop-down. Is there anything else what could drive this?

    What is the used EDT ?!

    It is new string based type created by me. I have also tried with regular string field and it didn't work.

    It is for ExtCodeTable. I am trying add a new field which will hold some external sites names, than I would like to use it in my query .

    Sorry mate, this is just in one table. I am adding new field to ExtCodeTable and than I want use it the query criteria. The query is looking in one table only so no joins.

    Please drop screen shoots .

    For example ,

    In custtable, you will find relation between custtable and custgroup with custgroup.

    To retrieve customer groups when you create customer

    That what I mean
