Post Purchase/Sales Invoice via API?

Is it possible to post a purchase/sales invoice via the API?  The only methods I see are the basic HTTP commands (GET,POST,PATCH,DELETE) and no property that I could set that would tell BC to post the invoice.  I'm working in .NET by the way, so no AL please.

    Keith,

    I wrote a custom API page in AL that gives more advanced functions than what is available in bound actions. Depending how technical you want to get it may be worth investigating.

    Do you know of a good resource that walks you through how to publish API pages?  I've gone through all of the Microsoft Docs site and it seems like there are headings that say that the section is about how to publish them, but there's no information.  We're using the Dynamics 365 hosted version of BC and the only examples I've seen are for locally hosted instances.  Your API page looks fantastic, but I have no clue what to do with it :-(

    This code requires you to add a custom extension to BC. Then you can publish the API page like any other web service.

    In theory you should be able to just upload the .app file to BC as an extension.
