Sales tax is not included on invoice proposal in project management

Hi all,

I have select the option "Price include tax" on customer, then I create a expense journal in project module, but when I generate the invoice proposal, the sales price is not include tax, so how to setup it ?

Hi

How much is the sales price with tax?

And how much is shown in proposal?

When you choose price include tax, system consider that tax has been calculated and already has been entered on the mentioned sales price.

If you wnat system to calculate tax for you, you need to set up a proper tax code and then use that instead of price include sales tax.

Instead of enabling 'Price Include Tax' enable the same in the Expense Journal setup in the GL Module.

The sales tax is calculated properly but when i run format invoice proposal report it does'nt show sales tax with invoice amount.

Project invoicing does not support tax included pricing out of the box. Line items within the invoice can be created by multiple business documents and have a mixture or tax included/tax not included lines. The sales price determination can be complex depending on multiple factor like price markup, contribution percent pricing , price per qty. For regions which have VAT or equivalent tax structures how should this affect the calculation of the sales price. There is a Feature request on the Ideals portal. I would suggest you vote for the feature to affect its priority in planning for future releases.
