Report Writer second page customization

HI Guys,


I'm trying to create a second page in the Blank/ Other POP purchase order report to include "a lot" of terms and conditions. Basically at the end of the report we require a second page full of terms and conditions with the report header information at the top of the page.

    This is a lot easier with Word Templates. Take a look at my article How to add a "Terms and Conditions" page to a Microsoft Dynamics GP Word Template document for more information.

    We considered word templates, but were not happy with persons ability to edit the document before distribution

    Alas, you can secure a Word document, but that's an entirely different subject.

    Hi,

    Without programming, you just can't do what you are wanting to do with Report Writer as she stands now. You would need to break your terms and conditions into 80- character calculated string fields and then work on getting it lined up right. You CAN do it that way, but the only way I would attempt it would be to edit the package file so that you didn't have to create all of the fields in the Report Writer interface. I'm sure you've already been advised that this is a fairly easy adjustment to make to a Word template. Mariano has the instructions on his blog.
