Quick view form multi-line text field issue

Hello,

I have seen an issue with quick view forms where multi-line text fields don't show all the lines in them, only 1 or 2 lines sometimes.

I have checked the web and found this issue came up since 0.1 Update.

I tried updating my CRM from 8.1.0.0359 to 8.1.1.1005 but still the same issue whereas in it's KB it is stating the issue has been solved.

Multi-lines in a quick view form are not displayed correctly because the max-height attribute is set unexpectedly.

I would like to let this field be auto-expanded. Also is this the latest version of CRM 2016 on-premise?

    Hi,

    We also have the problem in the on-premises 8.2.1.342 version.   Looks like we will need to apply the workaround...

    Hi All,

    This issue came back now when I have updated the CRM to 8.2.1.176 on-premise.

    Can someone know a setting to make the quick-view field show fully (expand) automatically?

    Hello,

    For those out there experiencing the same issue as discussed here, you don't need to edit xml.

    This issue is fixed in CRM version 8.1.1.1005 as described in this link: support.microsoft.com/.../update-0.1-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016-service-pack-1

    The reason I wasn't seeing the result was the cache of browser, So when you Ctrl+F5 the issue is resolved now.
